Perturbator is a French DJ who makes music for the dark 80’s cyberpunk thrillers the world should have gotten.  His music sounds like it belongs on a Neuromancer or Snow Crash playlist.  It’s awesome.  I discovered him a few months ago thanks to the movie The Guest, which is also pretty rad.

  

This makes me genuinely proud to be an American.  Fuck the Confederacy and its toxic, in-American legacy. Anybody flying that flag is not your friend.  

I think a question on the Voight-Kampff test should be: “You’re a DJ at a classic rock station.  You can play either “Holy Diver” or Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing.”  But you’re not playing “Holy Diver.”  Why not?

I have seen the moment of my greatness flicker,

And I have seen the eternal footman hold my coat, and snicker,

And in short, I was afraid. 

I’ve read some of these (Elric!) and would like to read most of the others. Maybe that’ll help fill the time before the next GRRM book…

Apparently The Sword are in the studio making another album!  Looks like it might drop in the summer.  Fuck yeah!
